At ONCAMPUS Amsterdam you will prepare yourself to progress to your chosen undergraduate degree at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS).



This one-year (3 term) programme offers progression to Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. You will study your Foundation programme at our state-of-the-art Centre located at the heart of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences campus.



Who is this programme designed for?

This programme is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. The UFP is set at level 3, which is equivalent to A-level standard in the UK.



How long will I study for?

This programme lasts one academic year (nine months). The year is divided into three terms of seven to nine teaching weeks and one reading week. You will undertake up to 26 hours of classroom-based study per week.



What will I study?

This programme includes English and three academic subject modules. English will be integrated into the teaching of academic subjects, as well as being taught separately for those who need additional support to develop their English language ability.

You will study the following module:

  • Economics & Finance
  • Business Behaviours
  • Skills for Business





How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed at regular intervals throughout the programme to ensure you are making the progress required to successfully complete the programme. Full assessment of the programme will take place in the final term. Assessment methodologies are aligned to those that will be experienced in the university environment, and include project work, essays, presentations and unseen examinations.

All programmes are subject to a €300 registration fee and a €2,200 refundable deposit.

Undergraduate Foundation Programme


For students wishing to progress to:

September start: 5.0 IELTS or equivalent, with no single element below 4.5

January start: 5.0 IELTS or equivalent, with no single element below 4.5

GCSE equivalent level Maths required from High School


Entry Requirements – India and Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka

Completion of Year XII with pass grades

For EU student high school completed.

For Visa application you have transfer to full year tuition fees 12500 Euro + 10500 Euro for an accommodation cost. The accommodation cost can get back once you arrive in Netherlands within 2-3 weeks. There is no need any sponsor or Bank as AUAS will sponsor and apply for your residence permit.



Accommodation at University of Amsterdam



  • The University of Amsterdam has a number of agreements with housing corporations throughout Amsterdam and can assist international studentsin finding appropriate accommodation.
  • As in many other major European cities, the demand for reasonably priced private housing in Amsterdam is high. Therefore we suggest that you apply for University accommodation as soon as possible.
  • The housing locations are spread throughout the city. Some rooms are located in the city centre(5 minutes from the University), others are further away (up to 40 minutes).
  • Rent for single room varies from approximately€400 to €550 a month, rent for shared accommodation is approximately €300 to €350 a month. Rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis, and the ONCAMPUS Amsterdam team cannot influence where in the city your room will be.
  • All rooms have a bed and mattress, table or desk and chair, wardrobe, bookcase or bookshelves, curtains or venetian blinds and lighting. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge and small cooker(s).
  • Pots, pans, rice cookers or kitchen utensils are normally not provided, but often left behind by former students. There are also many shops where these items can be purchased.

Please note that to use the internet in your room you need to bring or buy an internet cable.
