Bachelor of Science in Management

About the programme:
Bachelor of Science in Management is a career-oriented and based on strong ties to the international market. It is a 4-year program that combines business education with a broad-based liberal arts foundation. This gives students the skills and expertise necessary to advance in today’s dynamic business environment. The program emphasizes global perspectives, fosters a sense of social responsibility, and develops leadership skills – all while offering the student flexibility to pursue their individual interests. In addition, students explore the social and ethical dimensions of business and professional responsibility.
Duration (full-time): 4 years
You can also choose to study one year at this university. For example, if you are enrolled in your second or third year of Bachelor in Denmark, you can study one year of your programme at CIBU, which will equivalent the studies at your current University.

 

Requirements:
Applicants must have successfully graduated from an accredited high school program or have proof of high school equivalency.
English score within the last two years (if from a non-native English speaking country) from one of the following approved tests:
TOEFL PBT – 513
TOEFL iBT – 65
IELTS – 6.0
TOEIC – 550
or attended a higher education program for at least two years in English.
As a Danish student, there is also the possibility to study at CIBU without any English Language Certificate.

Tuition fees:
Tuition is charged per semester. The number of courses to complete the program may depend on the number of credits or courses transferred from other institutions.

SU – Danish students’ grants and loans scheme
The Danish students’ Grants and Loans scheme supports with full SU and loan in total of approximately DKK 9.000 per month in 2017.

This program of study prepares students for careers in business management and the necessary skills and global orientation to succeed in the international marketplace. Elective options focus students on the diverse and fast-changing global environment, and provide students with an understanding of the economic, social and technological forces shaping global markets today.

You can also choose to study one semester or one year at this university. For example, if you are enrolled in your first or second year of Masters in Denmark, you can study one year of your programme at CIBU, which will equivalent the studies at your current University.

Requirements:

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Foreign degrees will be reviewed to determine if they meet the necessary academic requirements.

Tuition & SU – The Danish Students’ grants and loans scheme
The Danish students’ Grants and Loans scheme supports with full SU and loan in total of approximately DKK 9.000 per month in 2017. The Danish students Grants and Loans scheme also supports with paying 100% of the $14.000 tuition for the MBA.
When you apply you will be asked to pay an administrative fee and an international postage fee in total of $300.
The MBA is on the fast track list, which means that it’s already pre-approved by the Danish students’ Grants and Loans scheme.

Living Expenses

 

Estimated Living Cost: $10000 to $12000 (per year). An average of $700 to $1000 per month

An average of $700 to $1000 per month should be considered as safe this includes your accommodation (room and board), travel, food, some books, some clothing and maybe some entertainment expense too.

Please find below a range of costs that have been considered while estimating the above listed:
• Books and study materials will cost $500 to $1000 approximately per academic year
• Travel costs within the US will be between $300 and $700 approximately
• Room and Board will cost between $3000 and $7500 approximately per year. (Allow an additional $1000 to $2000 for vacation periods when the dormitory might be closed.)
• If living off campus, the cost of renting an apartment will be between $300 and $600 a month but could be much higher depending on the location.
• Meals should cost about $2500 a year, assuming that you do not fancy too many outings
• Clothing will cost $500 or more annually (if anyone goes to cold place, you better buy some clothes that suit their weather; otherwise you may shiver)
• Personal expenses will cost around $2000 approximately per year
• Health / Medical Insurance: $300 to $500 per year per person.
