Dania Academy of Higher Education is one of nine regional academies of higher education in Denmark and has campuses in eight different Danish cities – Viborg, Randers, Grenaa, Hadsten, Hobro, Horsens, Skive and Silkeborg.

Dania Academy develops and offers practice-oriented higher-education program at undergraduate level (AP and BA degrees). Our program combines theory with practice and we highly value tuition in small teams and group and project work. We have strong ties to and work closely together with the industry introducing real-life cases and internships for our students.

We are a University of Applied Sciences and the program we offer focus on applied degrees within technology, IT, business and health. Five of our 21 programs are taught in English.

Duration: 2 years ( total 4 semesters)

– If you have international highschool diploma you can apply
– IELTS: if you have a minimum of 5.5 or studied in English your previous studies like Bachelor, then we will take a skype interview.

– Any background of studies and study gaps is allowed and if you have work experiences are eligible
– A signed collaboration agreement with a company who will act as case company for your group

1.AP Degree in IT-Technology

Duration: 2 years

Deadline: 15 March, 2020.

Tuition fee: 12,000 EUR/year ; 6,000 EUR per semester

Entry requirements:

  1. Diploma, such as:
  • Upper secondary certificates and diplomas from the Nordic countries, European countries (Baccalaureate diploma) and other countries that have signed the European Convention on the Equivalence of Diplomas, Leading to Admission to Universities
  • High school diplomas from the United States followed by either two years of university or college studies in relevant subjects. This also applies to applicants with a high school diploma from countries with a similar educational system.

2. International applicants must pass an internationally approved test*. We accept these tests with           the following minimum scores:

  • IELTS (academic test): 6.5
  • TOEFL (paper-based): 550 or
  • TOEFL (internet-based): 83
  • Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency (CPE)
  • Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)
  • Cambridge First Certificate with the grade A
  • Oxford Placement Test:  75 points in each part
  • PTE: 59

*(the test is taken in the applicant’s country of origin or residence – not at Dania).

       For non-EU applicants, only TOEFL and IELTS are accepted.

3. In order to apply for higher education at Dania, you must meet the same conditions as applicants           with a prior Danish education.

Depending on the higher educational programme you are applying for, you will need to show                       documentation of qualifications comparable to the Danish ”Levels”.

The Levels refer in general to the number of hours of instruction during the last 3 years of upper-               secondary education.
