IBA INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ACADEMY, KOLDING.

The IBA business school, located in the town of Kolding, Denmark with many of international students. The school offers AP degree, Bachelor and Master degree program within Business, Marketing and Finance, some of which include internship placements. Also offered is an MBA-level program. Many programs are taught in English.

The study program offer a dynamic combination of theoretical study and practical experience that aim to empower students to tackle real-world issues. 1. AP Degree in Marketing Management

Duration: 2 Years

Deadline: March 15, 2020

Tuition fee:  DKK 68,000 per year  (9,115 Euro approx)

For EU students there are no Tuition fees.

Admission requirements:

  1. Mathematics B-level or Business Economics B-level is required in order to apply for the AP Degree in Marketing Management.The Mathematics B-level is represented by 250 hours during the last three years of upper-secondary school (equivalent to the Danish B-level of a Danish upper-secondary examination).The Business Economics B-level is represented by 225 hours during the last three years of upper-secondary school (equivalent to the Danish B-level of a Danish upper-secondary examination).
  2. English requirements:
  • IELTS Academic: overall score 6.5 (with no less than 5.5 in each component)
    • TOEFL Internet-based: 83
    • Cambridge English Advanced (CAE): grade A, B or C (min score 176)
    • Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE)
    • Cambridge English First (FCE): grade A or B (min score 176)
    • Oxford Online Placement Test: CEF B2, min. 75 in each part (offered by IBA or an
    approved IBA representative abroad). Test result must be not older than 1 year at the
    date of application.

2. AP Degree in Multimedia Design and Communication

  1. Mathematics C-level is required in order to apply for the AP Degree in Multimedia Design and Communication. The Mathematics C-level is represented by 125 hours during the last three years of upper-secondary school (equivalent to the Danish C-level of a Danish upper-secondary examination).

  1. If you have successfully completed an AP degree in Marketing Management, you are normally accepted automatically.If you have a degree from another country, or an AP degree in a different subject area, you will be evaluated individually. In some cases, taking additional courses is necessary, and you must have English and mathematics at the levels described below:
  • Mathematics B-level or Business Economics B-level is required in order to apply for the Bachelor in International Sales and Marketing Management.The Mathematics B-level is represented by 250 hours during the last three years of upper-secondary school (equivalent to the Danish B-level of a Danish upper-secondary examination).The Business Economics B-level is represented by 225 hours during the last three years of upper-secondary school (equivalent to the Danish B-level of a Danish upper-secondary examination).

4.Top-Up Bachelor (honours) in International Business- in co-operation with Coventry University, UK

Duration: 14 months

Tuition fees apply for both EU and Non-EU students.

Admission requirements:

The normal requirement for this one-year top-up BA programme is a minimum two years post-secondary education (AP degree from Denmark or equivalent) or 240 CATS (APL with 120 credits at level 1 and 120 credits at level 2) obtained in a business related area. Additionally, it will require IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.

5. MSc in International Business-in cooperation with Coventry University in the UK

Duration: 14 months

Deadline: June 15th, 2020.

Tuition fee: The tuition fee for the Master of Science programme is DKK 96,000(12.845 EURO), if you pay the total amount up front. If you wish to pay annually, you can do so. Then the first year costs DKK 75,000(10.034 EURO) and the second DKK 35,000(4.682 EURO).

            Tuition fees apply for both EU and Non-EU students.

Admission requirements:

You must normally have successfully completed a degree in a relevant subject area at undergraduate level (bachelor or equivalent).

Additionally, you must have passed English at a certain level. Students from Denmark must have passed English at a level equivalent to a Danish Upper Secondary education B-level. The English B-level is represented by 210 hours during the last three years of upper-secondary school (equivalent to the Danish B-level of a Danish upper-secondary examination).

Students from all other countries must present a recognised international English test, with a result equivalent to or better than:

Admission requirements:

If you have successfully completed an AP degree in Marketing Management, you are normally accepted due to number of seats and evaluation criterias.

If you have a degree from another country or an AP degree in a different subject area, you will be evaluated individually. In some cases, taking additional courses is necessary, and you must have English and mathematics at the levels described below.

Additionally, you need a recommendation from an appropriate tutor, advisor or international co-ordinator, confirming that you have the aptitude, self-discipline, motivation and commitment to complete a challenging double award programme.

For EU students there are no Tuition fees.

 

3. MBA (General)-in cooperation with Coventry University in the UK

Duration: 16 months

Deadline: October 1, 2020.

Please note:

*All non-EU citizens without a Danish permanent residence permit must pay an application fee of 750 DKK. IBA must receive the application fee before the application deadline, otherwise, your application will not be evaluated. The application fee will not be deducted in any form, it is not a guarantee for admission and it is not refundable if the student is not admitted.
