ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  1. HSC diploma [Mathematics and Physics corresponding to Mathematics 4 (advanced level of mathematics) and Physics 2 (advanced level of physics). In each of the subjects, applicants must have at least a passing grade]

2. MA in Computer Science

Application deadline: 15 January 2019

 Duration: 2 years (120 credits) 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTSA Bachelor’s degree corresponding to 180 ECTS credits, or equivalent, including courses in:

1. A Bachelor’s degree corresponding to 180 ECTS credits, or equivalent, including courses in:

– Mathematics: three different subjects of a total of 22,5 credits. Among those subjects, there must be one course in one-variable calculus, one course in linear algebra and one course in discrete structures.

– Computer Science/Information Technology: three different subjects of a total of 22,5 credits. Among those subjects, there must be one course in object-oriented programming, one course in algorithms and data structures and one course in computational complexity

– A course in Calculus in Several Variables is required to follow the tracks Data analysis, Cognitive systems and Scientific computing.

2. English language proficiency equivalent to English course B/6 (IELTS Academic: A minimum overall mark of 6.5, with no section lower than 5.5)*

3. Master’s programme in Information and Network Engineering

Application deadline: 15 January 2019

Duration: 2 years (120 credits)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. A Bachelor’s degree of 180 credits, or equivalent, including:

–  at least 6 months of studies (corresponding to 30 credits) within electrical engineering, electronics, computer engineering or computer science.

– basic mathematics courses within single variable and multivariable calculus, linear algebra and mathematical statistics or probability theory.

–  at least one course in computer programming (preferably C or Python) with a passing grade.

–  a course on signals and systems with a passing grade, including material about time-continuous and time-discrete systems, sampling, linear filters and systems, and transform methods (Fourier, Laplace, and Z).

–  It is recommended that the applicant has experience of problem-solving using numerical computing languages like MATLAB.
