Gather documentation

It is a good idea to gather the necessary documents before you start to complete the application form. You can use the checklist below.

If you submit documents not written in English, Norwegian, Swedish or Danish, you must also submit certified translations into Danish or English.

You must submit:

Documentation of paid fee. Attach the receipt for your payment.

Copy of all pages of your passport – including all empty pages and the passport’s front and back cover.

Documentation proving that the Danish Patient Safety Authority has assessed your primary qualifications to be eligible for testing to obtain Danish authorization as a doctor, dentist, or nurse (if applicable).

Documentation proving that the Danish Patient Safety Authority has assessed that you are covered by the authorization process for specifically requested healthcare professionals (if applicable).

Documentation proving that you can support yourself (and any accompanying family members) during your stay in Denmark.
